Composition and Application of Thermoplastic Reinforced Pipe (RTP)

RTP pipes are mainly composed of three layers: the inner layer of thermoplastic pipe, the middle layer of reinforced material layer intertwined at a specific angle, the materials are aramid fiber, polyester fiber, glass fiber and steel wire, and the outer layer is a protective layer, which is generally a HDPE layer with anti-aging and UV resistance added.

RTP pipe lines have excellent flexibility and high pressure bearing capacity, can be coiled for supply, and can be quickly laid over long distances without joints. They are mainly used in the fields of oil, natural gas, high-pressure water, and special fluid transportation. The pipes are connected by reinforced electric fusion sleeves or compression joints, and the equipment is connected by compression joints or reinforced electric fusion joint flanges, which can meet various connection forms such as flanges and threads.

Application area

1. Petrochemical industry: can be used in crude oil and finished oil gathering and transportation pipelines, as well as water and drug injection pipelines. Especially suitable for the transportation of high sulfur oil, gas, water and other media, natural gas transportation, gathering pipelines, dock oil transportation pipelines, and oilfield emergency treatment transportation pipelines.

2. Chemical industry: process piping and discharge pipelines for the transportation of medium and low temperature corrosive media in industries such as acid, alkali, and salt manufacturing, fine chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, etc;
