PE pipe is one of the most widely used plastic pipes. Today Let us introduce it’s main useage and advantages.

Definition of pe pipe

PE (polyethylene) material is widely used in the field of water supply pipe manufacturing due to it’s high strength, corrosion resistance, and non-toxic characteristics. Because it does not easy rust, so it’s a good pipe to replace ordinary iron water supply pipes.

PE water pipe characteristics:

1. High strength, excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking, and good creep resistance;

2. Good toughness and flexibility, strong adaptability to uneven foundation and misalignment, and can withstand harsh environments such as earthquakes and typhoons;

3. Has good weather resistance (including UV resistance) and long-term thermal stability;

4. Corrosion resistance, no anti-corrosion treatment, long service life;

5. The inner wall is smooth, the flow resistance is small, the circulation capacity is large, and the construction cost is saved;

6. Good wear resistance and wear resistance;

7. Good low-temperature impact resistance, can be safely used in the temperature range of -20~40℃, winter construction is not affected;

8. The electric melting (or hot melting) connection is convenient and reliable, and the construction and maintenance are simple (there is no need to stop water during it);

9. It is fully suitable for traditional excavation construction methods and brand-new trenchless technologies such as pipe jacking, directional drilling, liner pipe, split pipe, and submersion;
10. The raw material of polyethylene contains only two elements, carbon and hydrogen, which are harmless to human body.
11. Adopting advanced nano antibacterial technology to effectively inhibit the growth of algae, bacteria or fungi, it is a green, healthy and environmentally friendly drinking water delivery pipe line.

Application range of PE pipe:

1.  Urban water supply

2. Food and chemical fields

3. Ore and mud transportation

4. Replacement of cement pipes, cast iron pipes and steel pipes

5. Landscaping pipe network
