PE pipe equipment refers to the mechanical equipment used to produce various polyethylene (PE) plastic pipes. PE material has good corrosion resistance and insulation properties, so PE pipes have a wide range of applications. According to material density and structure, PE material can be generally classified into HDPE (high density polyethylene, also known as low pressure polyethylene), MDPE (medium density polyethylene), LDPE (low density polyethylene, also known as high pressure polyethylene), UHMWPE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene) and modified polyethylene (such as chlorinated polyethylene CPE, cross-linked polyethylene PEX) and so on.
Therefore, according to extrusion material, the PE pipe production line can be divided into HDPE pipe extrusion line and PEX pipe extrusion line, etc.
HDPE pipes are commonly used as water supply pipes and gas pipes. The diameters range from 16mm to 2000mm, so they are often called HDPE water supply pipe production lines and gas pipe production lines.
The main raw materials of PEX pipe are HDPE, initiator, cross linking agent, catalyst and other additives, and modifiers can be added as needed.
PEX pipe has a wide range of applications: used in plumbing heating system, central air conditioning piping system, ground radiant heating system, solar water heater system; also can be used as floor heating pipe, hot water pipe, pure water conveying pipe, pipeline system for petroleum and chemical industry;
PE materials can also be used to make carbon spiral tubes, double wall corrugated pipe, etc. Therefore, PE carbon spiral pipe production lines, PE single-wall, double-wall corrugated pipe production lines belong to the category of PE pipe equipment.
